Dont you dare use Internet Explorer

"The U.S. Department of Homeland security is advising Americans not to use the Internet Explorer Web browser until a fix is found for a serious security flaw that came to light over the
weekend... Internet explorer is being targeted by hackers"-usatoday.com

I am not an American citizen neither do i stay there. Am a user of Internet explorer but not a very huge fan of it.It's too slow to load webpages and its even slower when you have addons. With this new threat in mind, i dont think i will be clicking the e-icon anytime soon.

Internet explorer, is a global software. Almost every PC (windows) i know has it. If the internet explorer has problems in American then it should be a global problem, hence it affects me.

My advice to you my friends is keep away from internet explorer till the problem has been fixed.

Have a good day and enjoy it!

i love my coffee stirred..

I’m freezing my butt off! Ah man!
I don’t do well in the cold & it
feels like it’s getting even colder!
BBBRRRRRR!!!

I really enjoy a good cup of coffee
but I’m not an “addict” because I
am super sensitive to caffeine, but
in this weather it is just so
comforting.

I learnt a new way of making coffee though
& boy is it yummy – too yummy not to share!
Frothy/Creamy Coffee

- Put your coffee & sugar (if you
take) as usual in a mug (this works
best with Ricoffy)

- Take ONE teaspoon of boiled
water & mix in with the coffee/
sugar. You’ll have to really mix
with your teaspoon until it
becomes like a very light brown
paste

- Add your boiled water & milk &
stir gently – you’ll see the froth
just appear – magic!

Add a marshmallow or a dollop
of cream if you really want to spoil
yourself but it’s just as good
without it

It took me a couple of attempts to
get this right because if you put
too much water or too little water
it just doesn’t work so be warned lol.

Who would have thought that
normal plain ol’ Ricoffy could taste
this good?
! ENJOY!

Arise and Shine Malawi

This week kwacha has been stable trading A Dollar @ Mk383.00 from MK430 (as of 6 April 2013 @ FDH bank). Is the ERP back on track?  Some many indicators(ie HDI  indicators have gone up) to prove that the ERP is on TRACK, though this may not be for long, one can only imagine what will happen when the tobacco season closes. For business men this is an opportunity for them to travel and accumulate more stocks as much as possible, for Forex trader's this is an opportunity for you to buy dollars and keep them for greener pastures are around the corner after this tobacco season is gone.

This is the danger of having an economy that relies on agriculture. I am not saying agriculture is not the way to economic prosperity but it is inconsistent. We will always have these on and off season of economic prosperity. I think it is high time the Government and the people of Malawi change this country from the an agricultural dependent economy to a more industrialized economy. Our industries should take a huge part of the exports. Let us learn from countries like Singapore, who are physically endowed with  natural resources but they have the human factor to their hand. Malawi is a youthful country with half  the population below 18yrs of age. Though we not physically endowed with natural resources, we have what it takes to make Malawi to be a super economy. Lets use this huge chunk of the population to make Malawi a super economy. Shift our focus to this  population, train them educate them to be entrepreneurs and let them be the salt and light of Malawi. As for the aging population they have to believe and forge ahead towards that Malawi they dream of. Things and times are changing, we cannot continue with the very same thoughts we had yesterday, lets get rid of the turf-ism and be innovative...

ARE YOU IN A RELATIONSHIP or a CONTRACT?

The chichewa proverb "Gumula zikule"(break it down and you will fail to build again) illustrates the unproductivity of unconstructive criticism. i saw a picture recently that said: "Teenagers need role models; they have enough critics"

One of the factors that makes for unhealthy relationship is selfish or self centered motives. A relationship very much involves the quality of giving and sharing. When one seeks to use another person to his or her needs then that cannot be a healthy relationship.we tend to use others and are only interested in them so long as they conform to the image we have of them. In such a situation
the relationship then can be said to be unconditional.  Relationship says, "i will only love you if..." A conditional relationship is what can be called a contract. The basis of interaction is the contract. There are some people who will act as though they are interested in you only to get what they want, once they have it you served their purpose. Then they lose interest in you.

I a relationship that seeks to build each other, LOVE should be unconditional. This is to say there no expectation, but the relationship is not buiilt on those expectations. For example parents should love their child no matter what the child does. One may not approve of certain acts and indeed parents have the duty to displine and rebuke where need but one needs to realise that the love should be unconditional, "Chakubala Chimasanzitsa? Obereka  amanyasidwa?
